JD Pet Photography was founded in 2015 by Jason Doyle, a lifelong tradesman who started the business under a different name before a branding mix-up with a printer left him with a batch of signage reading “JD Pet Photography.” Rather than pay to reprint everything, Jason leaned into the mistake — and the name has stuck ever since, becoming a memorable (if confusing) local fixture.
What began as a one-man operation with a truck full of tools has grown into a full-service fence repair company trusted by homeowners across the region, all while keeping its odd, unforgettable name.
Meet the Owners
JD Pet Photography is owned and operated by Jason Doyle and Elena Marsh, business partners who joined forces after Jason realized he needed help managing the company’s growing workload.
Jason, with over a decade of hands-on fencing and carpentry experience, leads all field operations and ensures every repair meets his high standards for durability and craftsmanship. Elena, who previously worked in operations for a regional home services company, manages scheduling, estimates, and customer communication — and is usually the one fielding questions about the company name.
Together, Jason and Elena have built JD Pet Photography into a business known for reliable, honest fence repair work, regardless of what the sign out front might suggest.
